Ogilvy's 2026 Social Trends report is one of the better pieces of industry thinking I've read this year. Five trends, all circling the same thesis: audiences are done with synthetic perfection, algorithmic noise and hollow influence. We want realness, the messiness, the chaos, the texture and the feels. Really, they want trust; they want creators who mean something.

Hard to argue with any of it, or is it?
